At the end of the day, Brind'Amour is a great coach, and the players still like him.
Makes sense. I do wonder what they paid though.

And with how recently extended coaches have performed lately, gotta wonder how the Canes do next year. Especially with all of their possible turnover.

Good move. The playoff success hasn’t been there but that’s more of a roster issue. It’s not pretty but they play the right way and should be a consistent regular season force.

I see some significant roster changes coming for the Canes.
Rod was very candid in his presser after their run ended, citing lack of top players playing good enough and poor goaltending.

Should be interesting, seemingly half a dozen teams looking to move big pieces.

It makes a lot of sense, because I get the feeling that most of the Canes' UFAs love playing for the guy.

It will be an interesting team to watch in the offseason. Especially if they completely rebuild the D-core.
