That's a good point. It's too bad that we will likely never see the digital numbers (which will also likely grow over time as well).
Yeah after i posted this afternoon I thought about how many physical copies I have and how many digital ones...and it is about 70/30 in favour of digital and that is only because i didn't download when i first bought the console. I haven't bought a physical disk since launch and i suspect that there are a many more people like me.
They know how many soft copies have been sold, but for whatever reason that isn't announced.
I've always been a bit of collector and still pretty much get physical versions of everything if I can. I'll certainly double dip on digital though during sweet sales.
With the Last of Us being >40 GB and GTA V being rumored at a full 50 GB, I wonder how long it will take to ever force full digital on North America.

Considering the large area of North America that still doesn't have broadband, I'm guessing it'll be a long, long time.
A new study by the Pew Internet and American Life Project found that 30 percent of respondents didn't have a broadband connection at home, and 20 percent had no home internet access at all. This wasn't because it was impossible to get; the White House recently reported that 98 percent of Americans had access to at least basic broadband. Instead, people are declining to sign up because of cost, problems getting online, or a simple lack of interest.
It's actually closer to 94%, per the FCC, but it also partially depends on definition. "Broadband" is currently defined in the US as 4Mbps down/1Mbps up. The FCC is considering a change to 10Mbps down/2.9Mbps up, and that would drop that percentage considerably.

The problem is more caps than speed...you can just let your downloads run all night but if you have a bandwidth cap for the month digital is probably not the way to go
Another Xbone price drop. $350 now without Kinect. Even the bundles with the game including the Sunset Overdrive one that isn't out yet. Will probably want to cancel and re-order at the lower price if you have a pre-order.
It's probably a feature that will rarely be taken advantage of but it's stuff like that which adds to immersion in a game. Imagine that in an Elder Scrolls game...
Sunset Overdrive getting consistent 8.0 to 9.0's from most of the major gaming outlets. Sounds like a blast according to most reviews.
I guess I am not so surprised, but Sunset Overdrive does not sound near as game-changing as I thought it had potential to be. Looks fun, but not a system seller.
I've been looking at getting a PS4 but need one thing answered. I've done a quick search of this forum and looked at many sites... As the PS4 doesn't allow media streaming or the ability to watch videos from a USB, has anyone found a workaround? I have seen people post about using websites as a host for media but wanted to see if anyone has actually done this to confirm?

First of all the Calgary Herald and Financial Post aren't exactly video game authorities so I'm not sure exactly why you felt you had to link those reviews. Second of all why does it matter if it's not a system seller as long as it's a fun game? A few of the reviews note that it's the most fun game they have played next gen. Isn't that all that matters? Third I don't recall it ever being hyped up as a game-changer like Destiny.

I googled reviews. Those came up. They are not thoughtless promos done by some "legit" game review website, but instead the layman's take on the game. That carries weight with me. Call me crazy.

It doesn't. But as a hobbyist, I had heard amazing things about the game. I was misguided.

Yep. Just was commenting. When you reread my post pretend I say "Hunh!" infront of my sentences.
