Well Spurs certainly aren't laying down, yet. City looking really poor certainly helps.

This is also such a bizarre atmosphere, feels like a charity match. Spurs scoring and having their fans boo would be something else. Also wonder what happens if we get to 90 and it's still tied. Do Spurs lay down then, as a draw does nothing for them?

Feels very Spurs watching them celebrating every block like they've just won the league in a game to hand Arsenal the title, they look like they care deeply. Feels like a club that just blasts its own toes off so often. Though it's a tough spot to be in and people would probably be unhappy no matter what

Can't expect the players to lie down but there's no way I'd be happy seeing the flames play a full strength lineup in a game like this midweek. Would have been very easy to rest starters and play reserves.

I know in theory if they win and both games go perfectly next weekend there's a small chance they could still get past villa, maybe I am too petty but I'd rather see the Oilers lose a cup than the flames win a game like this for positioning even with a CL spot in the balance. They'll be taunted by Arsenal fans for years if they help them to a title.

Though clearly Slava as a Spurs fan you don't seem too bothered so maybe I'm completely offside and the fanbase just simply don't have the same level of hate for the Gunners that I do for the grease

Interesting thinking it through... a draw does nothing for Spurs so if they're truly getting after this game, are they going to go all out attack for the final 20 and open it up.

A draw is the absolute worst outcome for them, they hand Arsenal the title and they lose any chance at catching Villa anyway

It's so hard to know. In theory if they remain 1-0 down with 10 minutes left they probably give up, but who knows?

I'm surprised City scored tbh... they really hadn't played well to that point.

Well if you wanted to say Spurs threw the game, the effort on that goal was pretty bad. And based solely off his reaction that might be a bad injury for De Bruyne.

Yeah watching Romero on that goal was definitely not a strong effort. Some Spurs fans starting to do the Poznan in the stands, maybe I underestimated the hate lol

Both KDB and Ederson hurt, though walking off the field. Pace of the game is slowing down a ton now

Gotta think at least 7-8 minutes of added time, which complicates any thoughts for Spurs to go into Operation Shutdown.

Man City playing with fire by being way too passive, Ortega has actually done very well since replacing Ederson. But now we're in that grey area, a Spurs goal likely kills them both, should be an interesting finish.

Unbelievable. Son with a full breakaway just getting stoned one on one. No one can accuse Spurs of not trying here at all.

Well that should probably be that. A bizarrely fun (?) game.

Useless Spurs, of course you'd lose tonight.

I mean they made it far more interesting than anyone could have expected. Irony of it all is even after all that spending for City, it's the backup keeper they got on a free who might be the MVP of the game for them.

City got really lucky tonight. Two flashes of brilliance and a massive massive save from the backup keeper. You wonder if things are different if Ederson stays in net. Should be a fun last weekend as a neutral when it comes to the title contenders

Spurs may as well concede another couple now.

If they do, even if West Ham somehow managed a draw on Sunday, City could still win the league on goal difference

Congrats to Villa and their fans, UCL nights there should be electric next season.

Yeah imagine Villa will be able to blood a few youngsters and pull back the throttle at Palace this weekend too
