The attorney for B.B. King says the blues legend has died in Las Vegas at the age of 89.

Rolling Stone magazine placed him behind only Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman in its list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
Until recently, King performed in at least 100 concerts a year.

Very sad news, I had the privilege to see BB King play 12 times. No one will ever fill his shoes

I only saw him once when he came to calgary several years ago. A huge loss.

my wife and i went to see him the last time he came thru kelowna - what an awesome show

he was outstanding - absolutely fantastic

Didn't Willie Nelson run into a burning building to save Trigger? And trigger is still (sort of) the original though.
