How did this happen? A deep fly ball and speed from 2nd? I was really confused when I saw a sac fly scored two and assumed there must have been an error involved.

After Ellsbury made that amazing catch and hit the ground, he tried flipping the ball to Judge, but the ball got away from Judge. After seeing that, the 3rd base coach then decided to keep waving Travis around to score from 2nd base.

Thanks. I just saw the replay. Looked like Ellsbury should have been charged with an error unless the scorekeeper thought Travis was going to score anyways.

3 in a row!

Estrada with a gem and Goins with 4 RBI

Nice when the pitching is good and not all the hitters are a black hole of suck.

Seems like Bautista is getting his timing back too, which is a major positive.

Gibbons calls in to the postgame radio show.

Quote:
Blue Jays manager John Gibbons, apparently feeling playful after Toronto's 7-1 win over the Yankees in New York, disguised his voice to call into the team's postgame radio show Monday night.

"First-time caller," Gibbons said from his office without giving his name. But he did ask the host: "Is it the same bozos every night?"

Get him out of there. Yankees look like they're teeing it off a ball stand.

Just turned on the game. Is Laitos the reason we're getting murdered?

Wish we could trade him for Benoit. That's the guy they should have kept.

Too much money, though ironically the bullpen is the reason their chance at making that sweet playoff money is already likely gone. Sure the hitting has sucked, and we have injuries, but if we don't blow 9 games (or whatever it is) we are still Floating a little under .500 now when the hitting is coming around.
