I love the aesthetic of the Flames' 3rd Jersey shoulder patch logo, something like that would be awesome IMO.
Anyway I'll shut up now.

Plus, if people would just give us high paying graphic design jobs, then we wouldn't have time to spent on free contests!
Was it covered where they get posted to? Here? (Some might get lost) or sent to someone?
Would like to see some ideas of others first so I can properly steal them like any great artist or designer would.

Hahaha, yes exactly. Hence the "freelancing" part. I'm a recent graduate though so I have an excuse, for now... the unfortunate truth is Calgary doesn't have a lot to offer on the artsy job front. Unless you have a fairly well established reputation with years of experience.
Haha I'll probably do the same. Will wait to steal general concepts from the casual Adobe users in the house, then pretend mine looks nothing like theirs, and I don't know what they're talking about... 
On a serious note, I vote we have a separate thread titled "Logo Entries" or something along those lines, meant only for submissions, and maybe keep the conversation/responses in here? It could be more effective so as to not allow designs to get buried far back in the thread.
People should also remember to watermark your designs if you don't want your works stolen
