Thank goodness. I hated the story telling timeline that happened in TLOU2.

Seeing the first 5-10% timeline wise of the story from different perspectives was fine at first.

But then you end up being one character that goes from timeline 10 all the way to like 90% of the timeline of story before the next changing of characters. It was really annoying to start over again at like 10% and be all like, "I know what going to be revealed already!". The broken foreshadowing story telling aspect was brutal and this even without the online spoilers.

I remember making a comment about the way the narrative of the second game was set up it didn't make the antagonist anywhere near as sympathetic as I think they wanted her to be.

I recently finished TLOU2 per an earlier comment in this thread, and I can't agree more. Having the player play as Abby was an interesting choice, and obviously Druckmann wanted the players to see things from her perspective and sympathize with her, but when you've had the entire game up to that point build her up as an absolutely horrible antagonist, you don't feel a lot of sympathy. Not as much as Druckmann probably wanted the player to. And it's because everything was presented out of chronological order. If I had played as "young" Abby to begin with, and weaved her story in between Ellie's, it would have made me much much more sympathetic.

I still couldn't agree more, DoubleF! I too hope in the TV adaptation they weave the stories of the protagonist and antagonist together, in (closer-to) chronological order.

Meanwhile, one of the stars of the HBO Max smash The Last of Us sent a shout-out to the Flames on Instagram.

Luna dropped by the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles wearing a Flames t-shirt to break bread with Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek and other locals who were there promoting the city as a destination for film and television production during a busy stretch of Hollywood awards season that included the Emmy Awards, which shot-in-Alberta The Last of Us and Prey won nine.

“Of all the festivities of the last few weeks, one of my favourite events was the celebration the Canadian Consulate and Canadian Media Fund threw at “Canada’s House” here in LA,” Luna wrote on Instagram. He also gave a shout-out to Consul General Zaib Shaikh, Canada’s U.S. ambassador Kirsten Hillman and Gondek.

“Canada has become very close to my heart having shot TLOU in Calgary and FUBAR in Toronto,” Luna wrote, “and all my love and appreciation goes out to our incredible crews in the Great White North.

“And oh yeah,” he added. “Go Flames Go.”

I think Part 2 is great and I cannot wait. As someone who lived in Seattle for years, they absolutely nailed it. My neighbourhood was a level in the game and all the streets were in the right order, they even rendered the laundromat on my block in the game
