Tranmere just taking it to Town.
Stupid Townies, I'll bet they're like British 'DeWinton' parasites.

SWINDON Town and Tranmere Rovers are deadlocked 0-0 at half time in their League One clash at the County Ground this evening.

It's fitting that the Battle of the Bottom Feeders ended in a bore 0-0 draw. This was always the most likely result.

You know, that's simply not fair.
There's five teams below the Rovers. FIVE. That in itself means they're not bottom feeders.
There's four teams below Swindon too.
The Battle of the slightly above bottom feeders would be more appropriate.
Disrespect our underachieving teams at your peril, NBC.

I'm sorry. I guess it's just a bit of League One envy here on CP.

Hey! According to BBC Radio Merseyside it was a pretty riveting battle until that basterd Stan Ambrose ruined everything.

Ian Thomas-Moore has signed with Rotherham today... out goes the skipper.
----------------------
BTW, Swindon Town are at Prenton Park on May 7, the final day of the season!
We might be sending them to their doom!

Dammit, I figured that was going to happen but I had hoped he'd stay for the rest of the season. Rovers are in for a real battle now.

Tranmere drop another two points at home as Rochdale snatch a last-gasp point in a 1-1 draw at Prenton Park. Skipper Gary Jones was the hero, netting five minutes into injury time to cancel out Lateef Elford-Alliyu's fourth-minute goal.

They've got to stop blowing all these leads at the dead last minute.

Tranmere keeps its young star
Quote:
Tranmere manager Les Parry has admitted Rovers rejected a number of offers for young striker Dale Jennings, including one from a Premier League club. The 19-year-old has impressed with five goals in 23 appearances this season.
"We did have interest in Dale and we had some decent offers for him," Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"We're fortunate that the chairman still backs the club fully and we were able to say to at least one Premier League club 'no thanks'."
He added: "The chairman (Peter Johnson) has done that for Dale Jennings to be quite honest.
"He's concerned that Dale continues his education at our level so he plays a lot of football.
"He thinks that will make him a better player and a more valuable player in the future," continued Parry.
"It sounds like we're taking a chance but the chairman doesn't care, he just wants the best for Dale."

Tranmere's home game against Notts County was abandoned early in the second half due to a waterlogged pitch.
County led 1-0 at the time but conditions were unplayable following rain throughout the day.
