Forum loading issues

Anyone else having issues? when I click on the newest link to a thread, it will take me to posts from around 9-930 this morning. Once im in the thread and hit refresh, it will update with all the current posts.

Yeah I put in some caching last night that I shouldn't have (I was trying to have the browser cache images and CSS files to speed up the site a bit) and had it cache the actual forum pages too, which is bad.

I've turned it off but you have to refresh or clear the browser cache to fix it. Sorry about that.

When you click New Posts at the top of the main page, it's showing errors. I find it makes it easier to search the forum instead of having to go through all the various sections. Is it fixable?

Your computer clock set into the future or something? Or maybe CP timezone?

strange, it works on chrome but not ff.

For what it's worth, I was having a possibly related issue.

Only on one system, clicking the Tech Talk section would give me the error message about "We are doing maintenance to deal with the phantom page issue".

On the page, forcing a refresh with CTRL-F5 fixed it.

So I am guessing at some point with some maintenance some caching headers got mixed up, and if people happened to visit the forum during that time, they may be running into a stale cached page.

May not be related to Caged Great's issue, but worth a shot.

When in doubt, CTRL-F5. Or better yet, wipe all your browser cache.

Yeah there was some caching put on files that shouldn't have been, if people are seeing the cached pages not much we can do about that other than they figure it out.

The max caching was 7 days so tomorrow sometime those should expire.
