I've liked Giordano's game since he teamed up with Wideman. Maybe I should reassess Bouwmeester since it seems he makes his partners look bad.

Anyways a lot of players looked like they were just going through the motions. They looked beat before they started. Maybe because they know the team is going to be dismantled.

Bouwmeester seems impossible to play with. He has not elevated anyone's play when teamed with him and makes proven NHL calibre D-men to play at an AHL level.

Regehr probably should had Norris consideration when in 2010-11 he was +2 playing with Bouwmeester. Instead he was traded away a broken man (as an elite NHL d-man) and is playing out his string dreaming of playing with Leopold in 2004.

Butler may never recover.

Gio was almost done.

Please send Brodie to the AHL or 3rd line pairing until the Flames can figure out how to get out from under the Bouwmeester mistake.

Sarich career is winding down.... put him out with Bouwmeester. Sarich has a history of making his D-partner look good.

Absolutely. I think he's the real cancer and have been saying this for three years.

Josi's pass was fine and all, but watch Fisher's path to the open side. It was through the top of the crease. He didn't sneak around to the backdoor, he skated right through the front door, through the house, between Kipper and Bouw's lazyboys and set up shop. Bouwmeester didn't flinch. It was, frankly, as insulting a play as I have seen since Darryl had a guy just run the goalie to see what the Flames did.
