Gary Galley. Shut the #### up. You were basically a no body when you played. You were the Colby Armstrong of your day we don't care. Your a colour guy for THIS game so focus on this game. Just shut the #### up.

IMO the boys on the back end took another step with out Bio tonight.
Can't agree more

Russell, Wideman and Brodie all stepped up and really led this team tonight. I think the lines need a shake up, put some new guys together and see what happens at this point.

Would have been nice to see Glencross's give a damn meter go above 0 on what could be his last game as a flame

Random thoughts:
- Thought the backend played well. Eating up Gio's minutes must be a nightmare.
- Ramo has played unreal. Hope he keeps this play up.
- First time all year Flames looked tired. I'll chock it up to 3 games in 4, nights late in the season.
-Jiri and mono have looked off for a couple games now. Have to wonder if guys are battling injuries.
-I hate OOT scoreboard watching

He stands out like a ore thumb on this team.

That looked like a really fun arena to go to and catch a game.

Only took since the 80's. Now the team moves next year. The Saddledome will be the oldest barn in the league after the move.

Joe Louis Arena will be oldest. And then only if one excludes MSG.

Brad needs to do his job and help this team. Now he's under the magnifying glass. I think you have to make at least one "now" move to give this struggling offense a boost. We have most of the tools locked down and developing, now let's bring someone in to speed things along and at least help give them a fighting chance now.

Don't forget: the Islanders are a very good team. Had the Flames showed up with a full contingent of healthy players, they still would have been underdogs going into this game.

Honourable losses aren't what the team needs, obviously, but let's not act like this game was there for the Flames to just show up and take if they chose to.

If he is to make a move at all, it has to be a "now and future" move, and that is very difficult. The players we have on offence can do it, though as others say, need to be shuffled a bit. But if we're going to give up assets in a trade for a now and future guy, it has to be for a defenceman. And that is true even with a completely healthy Gio.

I've seen worse from them but that was not the effort I was hoping to see with Gio out. Halak was good when he had to be but I thought they didn't give that extra push to generate enough scoring chances. Pretty disappointing and now it's back to scoreboard watching and hoping teams they're chasing lose too so they don't fall back even more.

Well it could have been far worse. Really would like to see some mix of the lines. Hoping for a couple wins next week, and not just at the deadline

Does Ramo still get the loss? Or is it a 'no decision' because he wasn't on the ice when the game winning goal was scored? I know it's basically irrelevant, but does anyone know?

Really disappointed in the manner in which Glencross is leaving the team. He is capable of a lot more.

Quoth the Ramo, "score some freakin' goals already!"

91 saves on 94 shots on the road trip, 0.968 save %

Ramo gets the loss. He is still the goalie of record when we pull him for an extra attacker.

Is it really win now if we look for someone in the 23-27 bracket? Still lots of tread in the tire imo. We should some how strike a balance between Gio's prime and Mono and Bennett's edge of early prime with our acquisitions. I think grabbing guys that are 5 years away makes just about as much sense as guys that post apex. We need help now and in the future.
