I'm pissed. Ramo plays great against the Rangers, and again tonight vs the Islanders, and we get 0 points. 0! Garbage play offensively from the Flames. What a waste of great goaltending.

Ramo has allowed 3 goals in 3 games, and we're only 1-2...
Sigh.

Gutsy game by Russell, Wideman, Brodie and Ramo but it's hard to win in the NHL when your best defenseman and player is out and your top 6 forwards respond by being your worst players but that's tonight in a nutshell.

I hate to see Ramo's great performances in net wasted.

Zero desperation, zero chance of success.
Ramo is standing on his head and the players in front are just throwing points away.
*sigh*

Worst time for the offense to dry up. It's going to cost us a playoff spot if we don't start scoring some goals really soon.

Our first line needs to be broken up, Gaudreau needs someone to drive the net to get him some space as teams are just standing that line up at the blueline and no one is able to chase the dump ins down, neither Monahan nor Hudler fit that role.
One or the other okay, but both isn't working.

You can see the difference without Gio out there. Props to Brodie Wideman and Russell who upped their games.

Both Backlund and Monahan with terrible games. Forget about it boys, regroup and get back on a winning track.

Another great goaltending performance wasted.
I thought Monahan really struggled tonight. Looked like he was fighting the puck.
Gio please hurry back. Wideman, Russell, and Brodie deserve credit for tonight though.

That's crazy Ramo has been very good. I'm wondering if Pat is going to lose it again tonight on overtime. Guy seems like hes gonna have an aneurysm on overtime lately.

I don't want Glencross playing anymore. In clutch moments he loses us the game. Engelland, Bollig and Backlund are the only guys with worse awareness than Glencross. He's been a burden when it matters, missing the net, giving the puck away and losing puck battles. Hope he's traded tomorrow morning.

I think we are stuck with Glencross if I was a GM and knew nothing about him and sent a scout the last few games I wouldnt give a 4th rounder for him.

2-1?
Glencross mailed this in all game long, and gave up the possession allowing the Isles to cruise out of their zone for the EN.
Great game by Ramo, solid effort from all the defenseman given the circumstances.
Forwards, JG is getting shut down by opponents, and since the Flames have 1 scoring line, which feeds the energy for the rest of the team. So, with that line doing nothing, no one else is stepping up and using that energy.
Time to address this, Treliving...March 1, 1 point out of the playoffs, its all in front of this team, still.

Weird that these long Eastern road swings might likely spell the death of the Flames' playoff hopes (the last one was the beginning of the 8-game losing streak if I remember correctly). If they can't find a way to get some offence on the remainder of this trip, they're done like dinner.
