Only thing I hate about the daughters is the broken audio. Jeebus if it came out of speakers.
Finally getting around to playing with the other subclasses. Interesting to see how bungie will change the old ones since the new ones have amazing roles/synergy and are just fun to play. I don't know if I'll go in a voidwalker much for anything other than blink.
Took a run at Oyrx yesterday for a number of hours and all I can say is "wow". There is virtually no margin for error on that one. I don't think is a spoiler, but I'll throw it in here anyway:

Much like the other parts of the raid, teamwork is super important, and I do enjoy the mechanics of the fight. I think the most frustrating part is it seems like it should be so easy to do, but then one person dies and depending on when that happens it a guaranteed wipe. Got him down to probably the last required DPS phase a few times, but couldn't finish it off. Likely will have to run the full raid again next week - blah.

I'm seriously considering picking up the Taken King Bundle to see if I can get back into Destiny. I don't really have anybody to play with however I hear they have revamped the Campaign.
I know there are some CPers that play together regularly however I doubt I would make the cut until I leveled up. Would you guys recommend?
I played Destiny when it was first released and thought it was ok. I ended up trading it in.
Downed Oryx last night! Great last fight. So much coordination required. Really not that bad once you get the mechanic down though. I'd argue that Golgoroth was actually tougher in some ways.
This raid is definitely on par with Atheon. I'm thinking it's a pretty hard one to cheese too. Can't really push Oryx off a ledge lol. Actually seems like they just plain got rid of ledges in all boss battles just to be safe hahah. Plus putting in a system that doesn't even allow you to damage the boss without a specific mechanic helps too I would think. Also, all the jump puzzles are just plain awesome. That ship puzzle and the hanging urns are just really beautiful to look at.
Pretty much, though there's arguably more stuff to do besides grind that still helps you improve.
Another random PvP dump now that I've had a time to take a break from PvE.
Got a little too excited since I was hoping for a Slayer Medal.

No, I'm using a 1000 Yard Stare with Hidden Hand, Handlaid stock. Unfortunately the only usable scope is Ambush but I do have max stability.

I bounced around golgoroth for 3 hours today. I kept getting picked up by teams that had no hope, or were in the process of falling apart.
Same deal with the daughters.
If I don't beat oryx this week, I'm going to cry.
