Clearly isn't their year. Glad they made it interesting for some stretches, but I believe they should have a better record, even with all the injuries. Just far too many excusable losses this session.

Well, at least its a day game today so I can listen at work to make the day go by faster. Regardless of how they are playing, I still enjoy listening to the radio broadcasts of the game. Not sure why, as I mostly hate the radio for other sports, but I love it for baseball.

I may have to eat my words...was not a bunch of fun listening to a shut-out. Still there were exciting moments, but it seems like this team has finally thrown in the towel now. I wonder if it'd be different without the 10th inning meltdown in Chicago?

I mean, JD hits what looks to be a 2 RBI double that looks to be fair and is initially called fair, but upon further review just misses foul by a few inches.
Then next at-bat Smoak hits a high pop up with the bases loaded that looks for the world like it is going to drop in but is robbed by the best defensive centre fielder in MLB.
And earlier Pearce smokes a line drive up the gap but that went for naught as Mr. gold glove centre fielder snuffed that out.
