Learning more about his offensive coaching philosophy, I could definitely see the team trying to make it work with the existing roster in an offense more suited to their skills... very much like the greater emphasis on off-ball-movement cutting that I was talking about earlier.

But the exception is FVV. Everything I've learned so far suggests he's an awful PG for Darko's style of offense.

I have no idea about the coach - never heard of him prior. So I have no notion of him. But bringing up FVV, I think the Raps for a long time should have moved on from him. He's clearly been frustrated with the team for a few seasons now. I really want to see a good set of trades to rid themselves of guys like him who have shown what they're worth now and in the future, and despite being good in the past there is no future to keep them around. So any of him, and one of Siakam or Anunoby (whomever brings back the best package), should be moved on from. The patience with Masai and Co. only goes so far when it's been mediocrity and no direction since the championship. The winning by committee was interesting but it's time to do what it takes to bring in a scorign threat each and every minute. The guys they have are inconsistent, and/or not playoff performers.

They should have started selling assets a year ago. Now FVV, GTJ, and Poeltl are all FAs. Plus we gave up our first rounder for next season. This team has made terrible choices and is in an awful position unless they somehow pull off some sign and trades that actually bring back some value.

Yeah. I forgot FVV was a FA, but I think Masai's head got large over the out of nowhere Championship win. Ownership was right not to give him a percentage point in ownership. I still believe in him but the god-like stature has definitively dropped. Last years 1st rounder for Poeltl was unbelievably bad. Not because it had huge value, but the fact that they gave up something that could be used in a package to move up or get another useful asset. Was not happy with Masai's overconfidence in dealing a 1st rounder for a team in a position to clearly from the outside, not be good enough. And surely it lived up to expectations.

Sounds like the Flames of the NBA. Except they got a championship.

Quality wise this has really been a bad Finals. Games have had terrible flow, the offense has been poor (Miami especially has been brutal to watch). Rigging this for two more games sounds like pain and suffering, the humane thing to do would be try and end this tonight.

This is some truly ugly shooting from the Nuggets and horrific turnovers by Murray.

The shooting is atrocious today. I really thought one of the teams, most likely Denver, would run away in this game but that is far from reality.

The 3 point shots are the worst the bricks being tossed.

Porter has zero touch he has been open on all of them and bricked them.

Yeah, this is some ugly offense both ways... feels like the nerves getting to Denver a bit.

It's keeps getting worse.

Vincent throws up a floater 5 feet short Jokic comes down and passes into the crowd wide open Gordon.

I would say this has a very 90's feel, but if this was the 90s this game would have ended in the 60s. Been an ugly game of basketball, Denver should be ridding Jokic to the finish line now.
