Nice!
Another 5 game win streak.
That darn Atlanta series lol. If they hadn't crapped the bed in that one they'd be the hottest team in baseball right now. Would coulda....

If they go 2-2 over the last 4 games of the month, they will finish the month 8-7 from the start of the Atlanta series, which is what they needed to be in order to get that much closer to .500.
Ideally, they win 3 out of 4 as they'll be 26-27 at that point. Erase the entire start to the season and start fresh.

He stumbled and fell running to first base. Had he not he may have beaten the throw.

Odor also slid into an out at first in the 9th when he almost certainly had been safe if he just kept running through the bag. Leaving his feet cost Odor two hits today.

I think Goins had him on that first one though. He barehanded it and made a perfect throw.

Pretty good start from Biagini, gave up a few hits but only the 2 earned runs and 7 Ks. He's a pretty versatile piece in the Jays pitching arsenal.
Jays are getting a little unlucky today with the hits. Hopefully we can get a clutch homer to sweep literally the most unlikeable team ever assembled.

20 hits and 15 runs for the Jays through 7 inning. Reds bullpen is taking a beating in this first game of the series.

17 runs...... and just like that the Jays are on the right side of the RS/RA column.
If they can get the SP back and healthy, they can truly do some damage and salvage what looked like a disasterous season.

Hopefully Pillar can kick the slump he's in, BA and OBP are plummeting right now.
Great news Happ is back tomorrow.
Like transplant said, if this team can get their starters back and stay relatively healthy from here on out they are poised to do some major damage.
