Which Darryl Sutter?
Last year’s or the coach of the year version? Vastly different people/approaches/results

This whole thing feels knee jerk and an attempt to pressure Conroy through media. Who is doing it right now I don’t know? I just don’t see the Flames benefiting or wanting to have any of this proceeding in public. It seems to happen right when the Flames have calmed things down. If it’s leaks within Calgary then own it to the player and move on. The timing just makes me quite suspicious about motives.

It's disturbing to think the Oilers might've broken Sutter.
That or he had a stroke on the farm and just thought a bug bit him.

I feel like it was the Jack Adams that broke him.
It made him lean too much into his own style the next season.

The trophy is cursed for us. Fired the last two winners we’ve had, the next season.

The Jack Adams in general is cursed.
One reason is that it usually goes to the coach of a team that significantly outperformed expectations, so when they return to the norm the following year, the coach is on a short leash.
