Bourque? Aucoin? Giroux? This Agostino has joined some pretty elite company.
... What do you mean it's not the ones I'm thinking of?

No question he's a great AHL player. But one of thousands who simply have no way to translate to the NHL. (See Street, Ben)

Why do people immediately infer that the OP is suggesting the Flames made a mistake, there's regret, poor management, or otherwise some agenda other than a post being happy for a former Flame?

Without looking at stats I gotta believe Jankowski is a favorite for rookie of the year.

Rookie of the year was awarded yesterday to Danny O'Regan of the Barracuda.
Kisker was disappointed, while he admitted O'Regan had better offensive stats he thought Jankowski was the more complete player.

Jankowski - 27-29-56 in 64 games
O'Regan - 23-34-57 in 62 games
A negligibly few more assists, but our guy had more goals.
The real AHL rookie of the year would have to be Guentzal, though he was so good he ended up finishing the season playing with Sidney Crosby in the NHL. Imagine that, successful AHL prospects getting the opportunity to play on top NHL lines instead of spot duty.

I'm still annoyed they gave up on Agostino, be could have been the next Chucko or maybe even the next Dustin Boyd!

I would have loved to see him kept in the organization, but he has no real future in the NHL. So i understand why he was let go.
