Galiardi scratched for B. Jones' return after missing 12 games

David Jones and Kris Russel have both been cleared by medical to return to play, but Hartley is holding off until he's sure they're 100% ready.

Quote:
“David Jones should be in the lineup in the next few games,” Hartley said. “He has been cleared but at the same time, he didn’t skate for six, seven days and he was basically shut down for quite a few days so I think that conditioning-wise, we just want to make sure.

“Russell is the same thing. He has been cleared but with the knee injury and everything, there’s no way we’re going to take a chance with any one of our guys in the lineup if we feel that fitness-wise, they’re not at the top.”

Hartley says Russell is getting close. Two or three games away. #Flames

And just 'cause:

Kevin Westgarth said he is so hungry he could eat a boiled boot. McGrattan said I'll give you a boot. Those 2 are so funny .

I'd like to see a Westgarth-B.Jones-McGratten 4th line sometime soon. Send them out there to stir it up

Luongo might play, and Henrik might not: http://www.nhl.com/ice/blogpost.htm?id=25302

Sedin's ironman streak is the second-longest active streak, only 4 games shorter than Bouwmeester's.

Lack has played well against the Flames this season, and the Flames can't score on a shooter tutor at this point, so there's no point in rushing Luongo back, although, a slower-paced game could help him get his timing back.

If he plays, here's hoping he gets lit up and loses all confidence.

Well if there's one thing about the Flames is that they tend to play far better when away from the dome. So here is to hoping they keep that trend going.

Lee did the first game and Hughson is in Toronto, so hopefully that means we get Rick Ball calling the game tonight.

We do get ball, Friedman tweets it out every week just prior to the games

@FriedgeHNIC: OTT: Brown/Galley/Pizzo. WIN: Lee/Millen/Peacock. TOR: Hughson/Simpson/Healy/Amber. VAN: Ball/Hrudey/Oake. After Hours: Dan Hamhuis.

Couldn't find any good projected lines for the 'nuckleheads. A few game time decisions.

This is possible;

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Kesler
Higgins - Richardson - Hansen
Sestito - Dalpe - Kassian
Booth - Santorelli - Weise

Bieksa - Garrison
Hamhuis - Tanev
Edler - Weber

Lack

Henrik Sedin will be a game time decision with bruised ribs. Burrows might also return tonight after missing 20 games with a broken jaw. Santorelli apparently wearing a sling this morning so he's probably not playing. Luongo might play tonight as well. Recent callup Kellen Lain also possibly playing in place of Booth, who is also a game-time decision.

Edit:
Quote:
Jeff Paterson‏@patersonjeff
#Canucks Torts: Burrows will play. Lain will play. Henrik will be game time decision. Santorelli is out

All time record between these two teams:

Calgary 123-85-44
Vancouver 96-118-38

More fun facts: Canucks haven't scored a goal in over 80 minutes of playing. Haven't scored an Even Strength goal in 3 games. Calgary has won more games in 2014 than Vancouver so far.

I feel dirty typing all this stuff about the Canucks. Gonna go shower now.

Torts is losing his mind 1 second into a 0-0 game. You're going to die young John

Interesting start. We don't need to lose Smid, though.
