Such a terrible incident and feel terrible for all the victims. I think last I read was 40 or so missing? Can't even imagine.
I can be sarcastic or whatever, but I cant even imagine either.

Realistically...if you're just on your daily commute and a gigantic ship takes out the bridge you're on...what do you do? You're going in the drink. I hope you can swim.

Imagine if you've got kids with you? Maybe in a car seat? Thats just nightmare fuel.

And theres really little to no warning and not much you can do.

Even if you see that slow ass container ship kinda looking off-course it probably never crosses the average commuter's mind that its going to hit the bridge or that the bridge is going to go down faster than a 5th grader's science project.

No one would expect this.

Thats how we know its terrorism!!

I'm kidding there, I dont really think its terrorism.

But that containership company really should have done their due diligence before hiring Francesco Schettino as their Captain.

"Have you crashed into inanimate objects before??"

"Me? No! No! Certainly not!"

Yeah if a foreign government is going to do something like this it is going to attack at one in the morning in freaking Baltimore. That makes sense!

The real noodle scratcher is what is a bridge doing in a waterway? Who put that there? I bet they didn't even get a permit.

Homeland Security should look around to check if these "bridges" might exist elsewhere in the country. How could Biden have allowed these things to be built?

Most life threatening situations come with no warning unfortunately, most people who die tragically like this have no way to prepare really. Just another reminder that any single moment can turn from completely mundane to mortal danger in an instant.

I don't think it has anything to do with vaccines or lizzid people. This looks more like it's part of the gay agenda.

These Harbour Bridges can be terrifying because it's hard to design for the force of an errant ship hitting the support Pier directly like that. That's a pretty intricate system where once a few pieces are compromised the whole thing goes.

There's a reason I ran away from my old job...I hated bridges...not enough money for the risk you take in building them.

Good point but just know that many new vehicles have laminated glass side windows. So know which window these glass breakers will work on. And think about kicking out the windshield if you need to.

This is one of my worst nightmares. I have had dreams about being on a bridge when it collapsed. Probably due to repeated viewings of the film of Tacoma Narrows failing as a kid, even though nobody was on that bridge when it collapsed.
Conspiracies and blaming public figures for tragic accidents and natural disasters.

It's embarrassing behavior and I'd be humiliated to be related or associated with individuals who spout off these ridiculous statements.

How loose does your grip on reality have to be to actually come up with such ideas and double down on them?

Children have/talk more sense.
