Every player on KHL's Dynamo Moscow is now a free agent
http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/e...ow-free-agent/
Didn't see it posted.

The league released the following statement:
“As a result of HC Dynamo Moscow’s failure to honour its contractual obligations, no fewer than 42 players who were under contract with the club, or in receipt of a concrete offer from the club, have had their agreements with Dynamo annulled and have therefore been assigned Unrestricted Free Agent status.”

for the Blues, this releases their 1st round pick, Klim Kostin from his contract; as a result, his agent says he is coming to NA this season

Wow, Dynamo Moscow . . . Would have thought that would be a less prolific team.

Holy crap. The KHL has 29 teams? I thought it was only around 14. Course that might be true by 2018.

I think this is officially the end of the "Russian factor" when it comes to drafting. NHL is a better option than the KHL even for Russian players. Putin had to threaten Ilya Kovalchuk's family to keep him in Russia for the Olympics. :P

I honestly wish the KHL all the best. It would be great for hockey if you had two premier leagues in the world instead of just one.

It would be nice if the other wasn't KHL.

It would totally be a 'Benning' for the Canucks to sign that Tereshchenko guy. Totally sounds like one of those imitation knock off names that trick people into buying them, like "Soni" and "Hitouchi".

If there were two premier leagues, the result for the NHL would be a watered down product and higher salaries.
Yeah, sounds great.
