Renewals are out. Log into your Flames account to see the price INCREASE.
4.9% increase on my Whites.
And they applied my credit from my ticket re-sales on NHL Ticket Exchange. A couple of bucks off from what I thought that I had on my account.

Around 5.5% for RED2, if I'm calculating that correctly.

So...
not selling out regular season games + swept in four in playoffs + 9% unemployment + 0% inflation + 0% cap escalator = 5% price increase

Do they normally increase 5% year over year? Or did they combined no increase from last year to this years increase?

This is the slap in the face of all STHs. There is not much of a demand for Flames tickets as it is in this city....most of the games I sold last season were 40%-50% below season ticket holder cost.
what a joke. I'm actually better off just buying the games I want to attend from the secondary market for pennies on the dollar. Yes, playoff tickets might cost a pretty penny but the stress of having to give out tickets to clients, family or sell them will be completely gone.
Why would I pay $160 for a pair of whites as a season ticket holder when I can get an equivalent or better pair off the secondary market for $80-$100.....
At this point, I wonder what the Season Ticket Wait List is at as well....I bet that's dwindled down.

Doesn't seem too smart to increase season tickets when they couldn't sell out last season, but if enough people on the waiting list are willing to pay up to make up for those that leave, then they will end up with more revenue. Raising the door ticket prices on the other hand wouldn't make much sense. Outside of 6 to 8 games you can buy tickets for less than door price through re-sellers.

It's a curious decision isn't it. I wonder if the actual communication will provide some insight as to the increase.

4.6% increase in first row of blacks. Or $1.36 per game. I can live with that.

When they didn't announce an the ticket renewal prices in March like they have in the 15 years we've had tickets, you knew the increase was coming but they didn't want to have it over shadow the playoff positivity.
Given the increase in playoff tickets and face value prices for playoff tickets this past season, I thought this increase would be more.

It will be interesting what they do with concessions. Seem to be increasing at around 10% for year despite being the worst garbage of any professional venue i've been to excluding McMahon.

Price increase + job uncertainty + looking at how crazy Oilers prices went for a new building = looking an awful lot like my STH days are over.
I was stuck on hanging on for a new building but that has dragged on for too long and will probably be too expensive anyway. I'll look at coming back once the kids move out etc.

I'm with you. I was thinking something closer to 7-10%. I feel we have a potential to have a pretty fun season upcoming, so I don't think I'm going to pull the pin entirely. Another ¼ or 1/3 season is probably in the cards for me.
