The OP has declined to reply in this thread. I have also been speaking to upper management with the Flames this weekend, and what was done here does violate the Flames terms of use as to what can be done with Flames tickets. If anybody does receive an email or text regarding scalped tickets for sale, and you have no reason to believe your email or phone number was provided to other scalpers, please let me know. I will continue to work with the Flames' upper management.

I'm not sure I understand what the issue is (genuinely curious) isn't scalping now legal? Or does that not matter to the Flames?

Selling tickets over face value is legal. (But not allowed here.)

Where it becomes a problem is using your Flames tickets to obtain personal contact info. So the issue is saying you have Flames tickets for sale to get contact info, when at the same time having the tickets for sale elsewhere, it shows that the intention was to gain the contact info, and not to sell your tickets.

The Flames do not have an issue with people selling tickets over face value. The problem is they have to deal with the people coming to the ticket office after being scammed. They are trying to stop the scammers.

That's actually a very good catch Ken.

He asked to have people Private message him contact information when he knows full well if he wanted them sold at season ticket cost then they'd be sold on here within hours if not minutes.

So really no reason to post anything other than "first person to contact me gets them" and would save dozens of people from contacting him personal information such as email and phone numbers.

Real shady by a guy who's been on here for 11 years. Disappointing.
