Cell phone lines crossing?
So kind of a strange situation yesterday. Got a VM on my phone yesterday suggesting my brother left me a VM from his cell- I am with Rogers and he Telus. Anyway, the problem is the VM wasn't him, but some random guy, perhaps a little perplexed by my greeting and looking for someone else. Called my brother and he insists he wasn't messing around with me- had his phone with him at home and everything was normal. Checked my incoming phone calls and my brother's cell is listed at the same time as the VM.
Are phone lines crossing in this manner known to happen, or should we be concerned that one of our numbers has been compromised so to speak?
Sorry if this is telephone systems 101 stuff, but couldn't find too much on the webs.
