winning a round and taking the Ducks to a 7th game isn't "nothing"...especially since most of these guys haven't played a playoff game in their lives

but keep bring up the past if it makes you feel better

Lol the irony. Edmonton is perpetually stuck in 80's.

wishful thinking at its best....I'm he's going to the Leafs just like Stamkos and Tavares to join a super team with Matthews, Marner and Nylander lol

Flames and Oilers both lose to the same Ducks team in the same year. But only a true Greaser would educate us all on the different levels of losing. It take over a decade of losing to know how to properly evaluate the art of losing.

Please Sir, tell us more.

He's not staying in Edmonton.

Why would he? He owes them nothing.

Are this delusional and/or unappreciative?

McDavid can and will win ANYWHERE he goes.

Taking the stinking hell hole that is the Oilers to where they were this year is all the evidence anyone should ever need.

So tell me, why else should he stay?

If the rumour about Tavares looking at 8 years at 10 million a year, I imagine McDavid will be more than that. If Edmonton is willing to pay I would be surprised if he didn't stay.

Remember when Lebron went UFA. There is not one team that wouldn't give him max contract, and same will be true for McDavid.

Where he plays will be his choice and largely cap/money irrelevant.

Edmonton will have to pay the max. Term & dollar.

NBA and NHL are much different and a silly comparison.

"the gear I want to play the rest of my life wearing," said McDavid."

Is he saying his life will be wearing if he plays with that gear?
