The New York Islanders currently stand as such:

Phil Kessel - Eric Staal - Jordan Eberle
Brock McGinn - Derek Ryan - Dustin Brown
Drake Caggiula - Trevor Moore - Cal Clutterbuck
Michael Ferland - Victor Rask - Corey Perry
Sven Baertschi

Nick Leddy - Alex Pietrangelo
Patrik Nemeth - Justin Schultz (UFA)
Andrej Sekera - Nikita Zaitsev
Jonathan Ericsson

Semyon Varlamov
Antti Raanta
Louis Domingue

Not bad. The forwards still need work but the defence is fantastic.

That would be a long long long way a ways. Its pretty much one of the last task we do before puck drop. They are bogged down with many other task before then

My depth chart is currently 8 centres and 0 right wingers haha.

EDIT: Found some links. Thanks Goffie. Current Roster looks like this:

Connor - Tavares - Gaudreau
Larkin - Monahan - Tkachuk
xxxxx - Hischier - Johansen
Hinistroza - Eriksson Ek - Bennett

Theodore - Dahlin
Weber - Skjei
Russell - Mueller

Bobrovsky
Kaakohnen

Probably still looking at trading a Monahan or Johansen...I have 1 too many Centres and could use another winger to balance things out.

Sharks have had some discussions but have made only one minor CPHL trade so far this off season for a couple of reasons. Primarily we can keep our entire core team together and are not forced to sell off good, high priced assets to shed salary.

Our roster currently looks very similar to our playoff roster minus pending UFAs:

RNH - Stamkos - Tarasenko
Parise - Benn - Reinhart
Duclair - Jankowski - Iafallo
Dal Colle - Howden - ???

Letang - OEL
Trouba - Zadorov
Jensen - Poolman

Rask
Bernier

Had to move out a couple guys but I'm now in position where I can bring back the above and be under the cap, pending how RFA deals land. Seems like even young, highly rated players aren't getting much return in trades, so that may be the route I go. The D is a little young (3 rookies for sure, maybe 4) so I may bring in a vet there.

Not bad. The forwards still need work but the defence is fantastic.

And all that for only $85M in Cap Space, with no draft picks in the top 3 rounds in 2020 or 2021.

(I may no longer be a GM in the league but there are no rules against me sticking around to give Scorp a hard time still)

We actually encourage this behavior.

Player profiles from acceptable sites are
- NHL.com
- TSN
- The Hockey News
- Sportsnet
- ESPN
- hockeydb
- Capfriendly
- Rotoworld

Not acceptable
- Articles that make mention of a player's position. We need profiles
- Hockeysfuture
- Eliteprospects
- Junior hockey links to justify an NHL position

To reiterate don't submit these now please.
You will have an opportunity later in the off-season to submit any position change/adds - at which point they are locked for the season.

Also it needs to be specific to RW/LW - finding a link with "Winger" doesn't give you the justification to play both wings.

Fair enough.

I don't think I agree with locked for the season though.

With injuries, it is relatively normal just like in the NHL to see guys get moved around.

Removing that flexibility doesn't seem logical, especially when links listed above would show them playing that position.

Makes it easier on a GM to manage a team, and is more reflective of real-life.

Also, if you can only trade position for position, I think it limits the amount of trades that happen which is the lifeblood of the league.

More work for the Commishes which I can sympathize but IMO better for the league overall.
