And now after beating Juan Martin again, Novak gets....Kyrgios again. Nothing but draw deja vu for him.

So basically Kyrgios against top 5 opponents is the best player in the world, and otherwise is maddeningly inconsistent. He really needs Lendl I think.

Opposite day at Indian Wells. Kyrgios acting like Djokovic and Djokovic acting like Kyrgios.

Such a shame Raonic can't stay healthy. Novak is vulnerable.

Yup, absolutely.

Kyrgios with the tie-break win. Entertaining match!

Two matches in a row against Kyrgios, Novak, arguably the best returner ever, basically couldn't get a sniff on Kyrgios serve. Good news for Kyrgios is it's the Rafa/Roger winner next so he might even not have his usual letdown. If Kyrgios wasn't who he was, I would say no doubt he's ending the year in the top 5, maybe even number 1.

I was gonna write another Roger love letter after that performance, but I don't want people getting the wrong idea. What I will say is I'm not sure I've ever been more in awe of him than I am this year. Might be asking too much to actually get to #1, but he's played like the #1 player in the world, at age 35, coming off a major injury. Unreal.

big result in Drummondville

Auger-Aliassime def [2] Polansky 63 64

Into the QF of a challenger! With this result and his Sherbrooke win last week, he's up to 408 in the rankings!

Schnur lost today but he's also up to 358.

Shapovalov moving on into the QFs as well. up to 232

Kyrgios drops out of Indian Wells with food poisoning. Federer into the semis.

If you're wondering why Felix is thought of as the best young talent in tennis, this is why. Just insane that he's 16 for five more months.

So Murray officially out of Miami and Djokovic heavily rumored to be out as well. So that'll be a grand slam and two 1000 events this year, and zero QFs made between the top two players in the world. All of a sudden the #1 ranking is in play for a lot of guys if they can have good years.

Lol at Stan casually calling Roger an a-hole in the trophy presentation. As to Roger this is his best start to a season since 2004. Mind bottling.
