Is it the 330 model? Are you hooked up via coax or ethernet? Mine did that before. Had a service tech come out and changed it to ethernet connection and everything was smooth afterwards.

Could be a box, could be the connection. Better call in a trouble ticket.

FYI had Telus services installed on March 2nd and the TV was delivered on March 8th. Much faster turn around than I was expecting.

I had my services installed March 2 and two girls that had it installed last weekend just got their shipping notices. I think they screwed up.

I definitely like the TV, and it's hard to complain about anything that is free, but over 70% of the picture options are unavailable. Is that just the make of the TV (and if it is, why even give those options), or do I have to unlock something or change one of the settings?

P.S. Also, just for the record, everything is set up with ethernet cables and all runs in through the phone lines (unlike previously reported to me).

Check your telus bills. Can't stress it enough. this is 3rd or 4th time i've noticed this on my bills; when i'm supposed to get credit for little amounts, they "mistakenly" charge it to me instead. this month it was to credits for $3.75 that were charged to me. it adds up. super easy to fix, just takes a phone call but i'm starting to really get annoyed. check your bills people.

My internet has been slow and inconsistent lately, but the TV still runs smooth. As an example, the other day it took several minutes to load speedtest.net and several more to get the test started, but when it did get going the results were 12 Mbps down and 4 Mbps up.

As they both are on the same line and through the same router (tv is hardwired and internet is wifi), is it possible that the problem is just a poor WiFi signal? If that is the case, can I buy a new wireless router and hook it up instead of the one that Telus installed?

I don't really like dealing with tech support and really don't like waiting for a service appointment so I would prefer to deal with it myself if possible.

For anyone who works with Telus or who might have gone through this same thing.

I have all 3 Telus svcs, phone, web, tv.

I sold my home and I move out May 1, I have put an offer to purchase a different home but its move in date would likely be June 1. Is there a way that I can put my service with Telus on hold until move in.

I have a phone number I would like to remain active and just forwarded to a cell phone I have until I move into the new place. Is this possible? Thanks

I had mine on hold for a week or so and found the forwarding to be a nightmare. They charged me for it and then couldn't make it work. If I recall, they told me that it would work but I had to activate it on my end using the land line which I couldn't do because there was no house to plug it into. Instead of canceling it they canceled my install which was thoughtful.

I rented Argo in "HD" this evening, and I am seriously disappointed.

Not in the movie. Only about 10 minutes in as of posting this....but the picture and audio quality is absolutely atrocious. Is this typical of their VOD selections?
