Ok apparently not unrelated, looking at my bottle of clearly Canadian it uses pure cane sugar.

Candy stores in Inglewood and Kensington all have lots of selection of cane sugar soda as does save on foods.
Mexican coke in a small bottle is also made with cane.
Tastes like pop should taste

If you have a sodastream you could look into making your own. I just got a sodastream but just make soda water with it for now. However...

Yes, these are Mexican Coke products made with cane sugar. 12 Coke, 6 Sprite and 6 Fanta Orange. I gave one to my Mexican colleague and he loved it.
