Any CPers have/had a LG V20? It was only with Wind/Freedom in Canada, but recently rolled out by other providers as well.

In the US, there have been a lot of sales (50% off, etc). Freedom did have it for $200 off, but not now.

Got a new 7.1.2 Beta update for the 6P today?
I imagine it is just as (or worse) as previous.

You can find it in the settings app under moves.

Gestures have been there since 7.1.1 no?
At least I've been using them on my 5x

So Pixel owners, you've likely had them for a few months now. Thoughts? You like? Hows the battery? One thing I kept seeing come up in reviews was it was a bit dim outdoors?

My HTC M8 is getting long in the tooth. One of these days I'll have to upgrade and this is really the only phone I'd want to replace it I think.

Nope, it was the 7.1.2 update back in Feb.

I will start by saying that I have always been a Samsung guy and have owned most of them from the S6 up to the Note 7. So, my bar may be low...

I love my Pixel XL. Easily the best Android phone I have ever owned. The performance is fantastic, camera is great, and everything just plain works as it should, right out of the box. I am used to doing all sorts of things to remove or disable the Samsung bloat, so going to stock Android was refreshing. It may sound weird, but my favourite thing is the fingerprint reader on the back. At first, I thought it was weird, but now it feels completely natural. The speed in which it reads your finger and unlocked the screen is something to behold.

The battery is solid for me. I'm a fairly heavy user and lean towards the business end of things. So maybe 100 emails daily (Outlook), heavy use of the calendar, a call or two, and a ton of Slack/SMS use per day. I also take a ton of pictures and use social media sparingly. I don't really play any games on my phone. On average, my battery is right around 50% when I go to bed, which is typically an 18 hour day. I use Google maps navigation a lot, but the phone is plugged in during this time.

It should also be noted that I am pretty much stock, other than Outlook for work. No launchers or anything as I really love the Pixel launcher with Nougat.

Honestly, I would recommend this phone to anyone as Google really nailed it.

6P didn't add swipe gesture on fingerprint sensor until this beta today

UPDATE: The update is live for a number of people, it seems. We have Nexus 6P and Pixel rollouts at the very least. Sign-up for the beta program or go hammer on that update button!

UPDATE 2: Nexus 6P gets the fingerprint swipe for notifications!

No, up and running. No root so have to load apps the old fashioned way. Haven't been able to check battery yet but will later tonight. They supposedly made a few tweaks to processing running in the background and what not. A few other tweaks here and there but I haven't played around too much just yet.

Keep me up to date. The n beta's were really kind to the 5x so I'm willing to try the o beta's as well.

I liked O but it was brutal for my battery, like barely 7 hours on it. They have done some nice things and I think it is a big plus moving forward. Definitely worth trying out. The next preview should be released in mid may.
