Well then, match on. Will Bournemouth give one back after taking one earlier this year from Liverpool?

Mike Phelan sacked by Hull. Too bad for him, I thought he did as well as humanly possible with that turd of a team. There isn't a single manager out there who's going to be able to keep them up.

West Hams desperate search for a striker is pure comedy gold. Looks like even clubs like Brentford are taking the piss by now.

they've been looking for a long time. In the summer they got rejected by Lacazette, Bacca and others, and eventually had to settle for Simone Zaza lol. Now they've failed with bids for Defoe and Hogan.

I'm hearing it's -7 degrees Celsius in London - That's pretty cold for a game of footy.

Spurs were excellent when they stopped Man City's early run as well. But as the chart diane posted shows, for Chelsea as long as they keep feasting on the mid and lower table teams, they'll be pretty tough to catch. But for now at least some more intrigue to the season.

Yeah, even hardened defenders delay a split second from a block when its that cold.
Been there, done that.

Its the old strategy. Your record against the top clubs doesnt matter so long as you feast on mid to low clubs for points.

only reason the title race is still close is because the top 6 have created such a gap over the rest of the league
even the top 5 really
looking at GD
+27, 25, 25, 22, 19
then a drop to 12
then another drop to 5 for 7th place

That is brilliant. Klopp looks like a serial killer.

It's true that if Chelsea continues to not drop any points to teams outside the top six that no one will catch them. But really, that's 78 points right there and almost enough to win the league outright, even if they lost to every top six team (which they haven't). They had a great run here, but there are a lot of games still to play.
That was a clinic by Spurs though. They gave away very few chances and looked really solid. I am obviously biased, but they definitely belong in the top 3 where they sit.

Liverpool is the likely destination.

Yeah, sure, but how many of those were serious bids where they were actually in the mix? It's all to placate the fans.
And Zaza is amusing because if they play him again they pay a fee and he is there permanently, and I think that Bilic has stated he won't play him again based on that 6th appearance clause.
And lastly, Defoe? Come on. Why would Sunderland sell him for $5m when if they manage to stay up its worth like $200m? That and Defoe left WHU and was treated like garbage by the fans....who basically detest the guy. I'm sure they'll turn quickly if they do bring him in, but what a mess.
