I was a little disappointed with the outcome of Spurs/Bournemouth today, but Bournemouth is a pretty good team. They ran hard and for a 0-0 game it was actually not horrendous to watch. I was hoping that between this week and last they would pick-up the full 6 points, but at least they remain unbeaten.

City draw at home vs Southampton and haven't won in 5. About time to derail the ridiculous Pep hype train.

kudos to Chelsea. Atkinson bottled the Luiz sending off, but Chelsea certainly deserve this. Clearly the better team today.

As a Madrid fan, I'm very much ok that we didn't go in on Pogba, but he really is fun to watch.

... Kante on the other hand, I'm still a little bitter about

Why couldn't United have played like this against Liverpool? We could use free points too.

Well, in the battle of the 'C' teams I'll take the win.

I guess its a little bittersweet. I mean Spurs can't field a strong team for every competition, so in that respect its probably best to be out. At the same time some of those guys are done as far as time with the main squad this year. Maybe it Harrison can control that pass in the dying minutes they send the game to extra time.

So what's up with Mkhitaryan? Apparently he's been fit for a while now, and not only can he not get a start in the worthless League Cup, he's not even on the bench.

And whats up with Phil Jones? I just got a Score alert that hes out long-term. I hadnt even realized he'd played at all this season.

When was the last time he played? How did he get hurt if he hasnt played?

Herrera, Carrick & Pogba in the middle.

Although, with Rojo/Blind, I imagine Carrick won't cross half very often.

Looks like two fairly strong lineups although Willy Caballero is hilariously bad.

On another note, what has Sergio Aguero done to Pep? Hes in a Mourinho-like doghouse.

Also what are the odds of United selling Mata?

don't care about the cup at all, but after the Chelsea game, this is a very important result for United. Deserved too.

Its a cup they can win now too I think, a trophy is important for Jose this year where it looks at least right now as though they dont have it for top 4 (a week can change things though im not counting them out)

With Mata, he seems important now I dont see him moving, I thought for sure he was gone when Jose was going but it seems that the player in the special ones doghouse isnt based on reason, it was Mata at Chelsea so it could be Mata here...., but just randomness

it somehow seems to be Mkhitaryan here, which makes no sense because he was a Mourinho buy, and all things being equal he's probably their best player at the momemt
