Why not do this right after the season? This is the time of year where GM's are getting ready for the draft and recruiting US players. It seems the Argos can do nothing right.

I love how Barker and Milanovich were anointed the QB whispers of the CFL yet they let Harris and Collaros walk and traded a now 1st overall pick for Willy (and Heath lol).

Good.

as per @FarhanlalgiTSN
The "tributes" to Hank will start flowing in these next couple of days, but I wanted stop and acknowledge his contribution in Calgary -- basically pulling the Stamps out of the dark days when he got here in 2005. Yes, we would often get "bad Hank" in the playoffs, but all in all he did get us a Grey Cup and made this team very competitive. And he was a solid guy off the field and in the community as well.

Wish he would have lost that last game but for him there was no better way to go out.

Barker certainly burned a lot of bridges while in Toronto. I'm sure he's not even going to bother calling the Stamps or Riders for work.

Hmm... Ryan Grigson just got fired. He has ties with the Agros.

Popp rumours that are out there are absolutely asinine if you ask me. Michael Copeland isn't a fan of the guy from his time working at the CFL headquarters.

Agreed. A good guy and an awfully good QB for the Stamps.

I have a friend who knows Hank very well and says he's a great guy but I can't stand the player. He's unlikable. I hate his me-first attitude, blaming his teammates when things go wrong and for giving the finger to the fans when they tore into him for poor play.

By the way my friend is American, is in the CFL and loves Trump. Something else we disagree strongly on.

No doubt Hank is very good and can still play.

Riders have indeed signed free agent WR Duron Carter.

They would be better off signing Mr. Perfect from the old WWF. He could throw the ball to himself. Unfortunately for the Riders, I'm not sure Carter is capable of doing that.

I agree he's talented, but he's also a guy that has a lot of issues and tends to split locker rooms. I welcome another head case into Rider land.

Scott Milanovich has resigned as the Argos head coach and taken a job as QB coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

There are some gong shows in pro sports but nothing comes close to this franchise.

Interesting.

Here's the name to look for with the Toronto Argonauts: Tom Clements, freshly removed from Green Bay, and once a #CFL quarterback.

That is interesting.

14 months ago he was the play caller for perhaps the most gifted QB to ever play (though according to one poster on this site a monkey could do that job) and now he may have to take the Argo job.

At least he knows the Canadian game well and had much success as a player, so that would be a start for a franchise the CFL really needs to be viable again.

Tommy Clements would be a pretty good hire if they can get him.

He was one of the smartest quarterback to ever play here, and he had a huge role in Aaron Roger's development in Green Bay.

All the rumors though point him to going to the Giants probably as a offensive assistant, QB coach.

He's too good of a coach not to continue to find work in the NFL, and even if he left the NFL, I don't doubt that he would head to college ball.

We all know why we love Tom Clements and it's the following:

Clements to Gabriel in behind Ted Provost, TD Ottawa and the Rough Riders beat the Roughriders to win the '76 Grey Cup.
