Kypreos: Duclair can be had for the right price
According to Kypreos on HNIC, Anthony Duclair could be had for the right price and the Coyotes would want a "pretty penny" for him even though he is struggling so far this season.
Fit for the Flames or no?

A deal around Hamilton is the only realistic thing i can see between the 2 clubs.
Duclair and Stone for Hamilton?
We get a solid winger and Hamiltons contract off the books. Plus we get a nice defensive top 4 dman who we can re-sign at the end of the year
edit: nevermind see he only has 3 points on the season loool

Another left winger, just don't see a fit especially not for Hamilton.

Only has 3 points in 16 games this year. Kind of a red flag

Only if Johnnys 6 week recovery turns into 6 years.
If he was a rh rw, maybe. But he's up for a new contract after this season, I think.
Can't see it working out.

He's had one solid season where he put up 44 points in 81 games. I'm not saying he couldn't eventually be a good player, but I'm not shelling out anything significant for him. Another up and coming prospect in return, with maybe an additional draft pick. No current roster players. We aren't deep enough to do that.

could have had him with the Kanzig pick. Just saying
always been a fan of Duclair. Don't think the price tag would make sense though.

Who said anything about Hamilton going the other way?
Also, has Duclair not been playing a lot of RW as Max Domi lines up on the Lw of that line when they play together?

yup. Played frequently with Dvorak, McGinn, Strome and Martinook too.
CHRISTIAN DVORAK MAX DOMI ANTHONY DUCLAIR 8.11%
JAMIE MCGINN DYLAN STROME ANTHONY DUCLAIR 3.7%
JAMIE MCGINN ANTHONY DUCLAIR JORDAN MARTINOOK 3.22%

That's depressing to know, since Kanzig could be had for literally a penny. A rusty one at that.
This kind of concerns me because Duclair had a solid season last year. Why give up on the kid, given he's so young and the fact that you gave up Duclair to obtain him?

Wouldn't be surprised if the best season Duclair ever has is his rookie season.
Doesn't address a team need and you probably have to overpay to get him.
Pass.

Is a 2nd too much to give up for him? That would be the highest I go.

Well look at all the other players on the Yotes:
-- Doan 5pts in 16gp
-- Dvorak 5pts in 12gp
-- Strome 1pt in 7gp
-- Dauphin 2pts in 12gp
-- Crouse 1pt in 13gp
-- Hanzal 5pts in 11gp
Sure Domi is killing it, but when Vrbrata and Richardson are your 2nd and 3rd best producer, along with McGinn up there too, it's not a pretty line-up. That's why they are the last place team in the league.
If they're willing to part with a NHL-ready and rookie 20g scorer at this point in their rebuild, it's a personality clash of something along those lines, not a hockey decision, because they can't afford to part with a kid with promise in order to get a pick or prospect
