I believe ESPN-U is only available online. I am not sure if you need an American IP address or not. I was able to watch the Boston College Frozen Four games 2 seasons ago without issue at home on ESPN-U, I never tried last year as I was working during the games and we had an American IP at work.

Not that it wasn't a sure thing, but it's official Boston College and Providence are in the NCAA Tournament.

I think Providence is going to get the asses handed to them. Quinnipiac is a pretty tough matchup.
Hopefully Janko can stay hot and Gillies can return to pre-2014 form.

If they can both get to the Frozen Four, BC and PC would face each other in the semifinal on April 10.
Here is the full bracket: http://www.ncaa.com/interactive-brac...ehockey-men/d1
Looking at the Regional match-ups and the road to the Frozen Four:
This season, Providence played Quinnipiac once in Quinnipiac and played to a 3-3 tie. They played Vermont twice, both games were back-to-back in Vermont, and Providence won both games. The Friars did not play Union this season.
Boston College did not play Denver or Minnesota State this season. They played a home-and-home series with Mass-Lowell, winning the game in Boston, and tying the game in Lowell.
Colgate played Ferris State three times this season, winning 2 and losing 1. Both of their wins were shutouts. They did not play any games against North Dakota or Wisconsin.

The Bridgeport region holds lots of interest for fans of Union College.
Union faces off against Vermont and former Union coach Kevin Sneddon.
If they win that game, they could very well face off against Providence College and another former coach, Nate Leaman.

I wonder how good Union could be if Jooris hadn't left a year early too

The 1st round kicks off today! Will anyone be watching/providing updates for those of us without ESPN?
P.S. What is Denver doing in the Northeast regional bracket? Seems like an awful long way for them to travel for a 'regional' competition!

The "Regional" groupings are set to ensure the match-ups align closely to the final NCAA rankings and geography isn't taken into account except for the top-ranked teams.
They want to have the first round match-ups be 1 vs. 16; 2 vs. 15; 3 vs. 14; etc. Then, assuming all the higher-ranked teams win their first games, the second round will be 1 vs. 8; 2 vs. 7; 3 vs. 6; etc. The Frozen Four will then be 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3 and the final will be 1 vs. 2 (if all the favourites win each game).
Because of this, only the top 4 teams are typically playing in the closest regional to their home town. In this case, as the #2 team, Boston College was assigned to the Northeast region and Denver matches up against BC, so Denver has to travel to Worcester.

Ridiculous with all 8 million channels that you can't see any of this in Canada until maybe the semis/finals.
