Not being able to take advantage of the backline missing both Fonte and Van Dijk. Disappointing.

Did Klopp forget that it wasn't the final yet?!

Was kind of hoping for a big United-Pool final at Wembley.

gets really interesting from 1:35 on. Imagine the outrage if Mourinho gave an interview like that.

Don't see much wrong with that interview. It's been a frustrating few weeks and it's obvious that he's feeling that frustration.

That outrage is usually from United fans though. If you guys want to rag on your own manager then fill your boots.

To Klopp's credit he isnt trying to set the single-season record for sideline suspensions.

Sounds like Southampton might be getting infused with Chinese money.

Lander Sports Development, the company best known for building stadiums around China, said in a statement to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on Thursday that it had signed an agreement with the Saints' owner, Liebherr.

Chinese entities and individuals have ploughed more than $3 billion (£240bn) into overseas football investments over the past year or so, encouraged by avid fan President Xi Jinping who wants the country to become a superpower in the world game.

Snodgrass will have a medical for West Ham tomorrow.

I'm intrigued to see what he can do.

lol, I never thought I'd say this so emphatically about Mourinho, but I love that man.

Quote:
Jose Mourinho claimed Manchester United were "still unbeaten" as he refused to recognise Hull's penalty in their EFL Cup semi-final defeat.

Mourinho, who has twice been given touchline bans this season, would not comment on the decision in a brief post-match interview with Sky Sports. And the United boss - who celebrated his 54th birthday on Thursday - went to greater lengths still to avoid the subject in his post-match press conference, repeatedly refusing to speak about the penalty and even claiming he "did not see" any Hull goal other than Oumar Niasse's second.

"We didn't lose," he said. "It was 1-1. I only saw two goals. I saw a Pogba goal and their goal, a fantastic goal. It was 1-1, we are still unbeaten. I think 18 matches unbeaten is amazing."

Well pretty obvious who Liverpool's MVP is. They have totally fallen apart since Sadio Mane went to AFCON.

today had nothing to do with missing Mane and everything with Klopp doing his best van Gaal impression. Nowadays you simply can't field a #### XI against lower league teams and expect to be fine, those days are over. Thought Klopp learned his lesson after being embarrassed by Plymouth, but I guess I was wrong.

January has been horrible for them. A single win (in the extra game vs Plymouth) in 8 games ... and they're playing Chelsea on Tuesday.

Well, he needn't worry about resting any more players.

Three games in February followed by three in March.

He can play his run like Billy-O tactics all he wants now. If they don't get a top 4 spot with the fixture advantage they have over the rest then he should be fired.
