But they'd actually be less expensive, which means better value

Lethbridge has two really great places to go for pizza:
1. Top Pizza & Spaghetti House
2. Two Guys & A Pizza Place
Both are very good. Neither are chains.
Two Guys wins competitions for top pizza in Canada, and they placed very high at a competition in Vegas a few years ago.
They are both less than a block away from each other.
As for the chains... meh. I never liked Dominoes. I used to like Pizza Hut, but either my grease tolerance has diminished or Pizza Hut has become much more greasy over the years. We buy from Little Ceaser's quite a bit, not for quality, but because the price is pretty darn good compared to other places.

Tops Pizza in Lethbridge was owned and operated by my great aunt for many years. Never actually ate there often, but it is good.
I think she sold it a few years ago. Not sure though.

Was good cause of unique flavor combos but stupid expensive. You might as well go for a nice steak dinner with lobster.

Domino's new pan pizza is pretty freaking awesome, just get bacon and thank me later.

I use to love pizza hut stuffed crust but they now have frozen crusts that they just pop in the oven and they suck, never enough sauce, the actual dough is 2mm thick and the whole thing blows

Anyone have any suggestions for a good pizza place (dine in) for non-neapolitan pizza? Not sure what style you would call it- more of the North American thick crust deep dish variety. Someone suggested Spiros to me, but never been...

Spiro's is pretty fantastic, I would second that as a good choice. Anjelika's Greek is probably the best pizza in the city IMO.

Yep.
My great aunt had part ownership. I think two gentlemen that came over from Greece owned the rest of it.
Best pizza ever.

Atlas Pizza. Or Nick's (hit and miss at times). Or Beckham's. Or Olive Grove.

Little Caesars is pretty mediocre, I mean what can you expect for $5, but there is barely any cheese on those pizzas. In a pinch it will do.
However, if you ever get a chance to have Little Caesars at Joe Louis Arena - man talk about death by delicious cheese. They have their regular pizza, but there is also a concession that sells the deep dish pepperoni and it is killer. I don't know if it's because the Illitch family is regularly in attendance, that the quality is so high, but that is the most excellent pizza ever!

My wife loves Atlas... I dont mind it but I like pepperoni and their is really thick and tastes funny.
If we are talking about chain pizza.. is there a papa johns up there? I love papa johns. I also love a place here called Mazzios ( when I get thin crust) It's an Oklahoma chain, my wife hates it, but I love it. They have a pizza called Ken's Pizza ( Mazzios was Ken's until a family divorce. Husband got half the chain and wife got the other. One half named their half Mazzios) and it has a spicy tomato sauce. It is excellent.

I'm usually pretty fussy about the type of pizza I like.
I recently tried the pizza at the Newcastle Pub on 17th - it was excellent. I had the Back Bacon / Parm pizza. Really nice combination of flavors. The sauce is really tasty despite being a little overzealous with the amount of spices.
Would recommend this place.

Correction... Processed Cheese Food.
I never trust an ingredient that has to tell you, that yes, it is indeed food.
