My son has skated with Landon a number of times, he is an unbelievable talent and a great kid. Micki is a great guy as well.

I would hold off on the hype until he is older. There have been players that were granted exceptional status like Sean Day and Shane Wright that looked unreal at that age and crashed back to reality.

So start asking for unprotected 2027 1sts for Lindholm and Hanifin?

The uproar would be something, considering people bitched about a 2026 pick from the Zadorov trade (which I didn’t mind, a 3rds a 3rd).

Eh, if he gets drafted by another team, Calgary should just go ahead and draft him anyways. The chaos at the podium would be totally awesome too. Then let Conroy and that other team's GM duke it out in a battle of who can smile and gab the longest. We win.

If you're 18 playing at this level, you're likely not that great. The American teams are strong but are getting beat up by the prep schools with '08s on their roster.
Feels like an Edge Vs Shattuck final right now.

Agree but ‘not that great’ is maybe a misnomer. Not gonna be an nhler for sure, probably a really good player though. Will be hired on the spot selling drilling mud in 5 years.
