Default Truck wand wash

I'm looking for a decent, relatively easy-to-get-to truck wand wash place for my F-250.

The only one I know of is inconvenient (by COP lights) as my truck is usually full on the way in to town....and it will need a bath badly!

Preferably somewhere in the short southeast would be good (say near Glenmore and Blackfoot - ish).

Thanks! As I don't live in Calgary any more I really have no idea where to look - and online is...well, horrible.

(But I still cheer for the Flames, despite the Canuckleheads that surround me. Maybe because of them.)

If you must use the brush, make sure you hose the hell out of it before you use it. You don't want the dirt and gravel from someone elses wash scratching up your paint job.

The car wash at douglasdale square, behind the McDonald's, has a large bay that should accommodate your rig.

There is also a car wash off of 52, in the industrial park, that has oversize bays. I believe it is called supreme car wash or something like that.

Whatever you do avoid the Servpro wash. It is awful, don't use it. The every cycle being heated, impeccably clean floors, brand new equipment and absolutely perfect soap rationing, are really just a disguise for it being a giant abduction chamber run by Eastern European mercenaries running a automobile and human trafficking ring. It's the only explanation.

Maybe too late but there is a Big Bucket Car Wash just East of Barlow on Peigan. It can take any size vehicle.

When it was being built my mom was convinced it was a resteraunt. Now we always ask if she wants to go to the big bucket resteraunt for dinner.

It does suck that we cannot wash our cars ourselves, even with environmentally friendly soaps. There's some satisfaction in washing and cleaning the cars at home. In Edmonton, before I moved, I used to do that on a regular basis.

You aren't supposed to use any detergent, as our storm sewers have no filtration before going into the river.

I didn't think you were even allowed to rinse your car? I mean, it doesn't make sense since rain, etc would have the same effect. Just thought there was a bylaw against hosing down your car in the street.

^bump. But why?

Because I now have to wash my truck AND my camper...so am looking for a truck wash with a gantry (?)/catwalk that one can use to be able to wash the top of the rig which is, of course, something like 11' high. The solar is coated with ash as is most of the top of the rig, although the rain in Cochrane right now might help a bit...but really...would like to give it a good bath!
