Really enjoyed season one. was terribly worried that season two, with its new cast and new narrative, would be a True-Detective-esque letdown. Was so wrong. This season has surpassed the first and is now the best show on television (IMO of course).

OMG I know! Every week at lunch I ask people if they have watched Fargo, and I've maybe convinced one friend to watch it, at least my brother finally got in to it but wow is it hard.

Excellent show.

Criminally underrated though... with the likes of Banshee/Ray Donovan.

This is the best show on TV right now. I was worried that season 2 wasn't going to be able to live up to the first, ala True Detective, but damn if they haven't far surpassed it now. And it looks like we're going to get our showdown in Sioux Falls with Ed and Hanzee pulling both sides to the middle

I can't wait

I knew it was good, but I never imagined it had the capacity to transcend the fictional realm.

It's really hard for me to declare the second season better than the first (simply because I loved the first season), but I'm gradually getting there. They took everything that worked from 1, added to it without being convoluted (True Detective, *cough* *cough*), tweaked and refreshed it, and came out with pure win.

What's the over/under on Simone actually being dead? I think she crawled under the dumpster, myself...

Season 1 was great, carried by Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, and Allison Tolman. But the cast for season 2 is incredible, I can't name just a few actors because they're all killing it. Plus I find myself paying attention to the camera work and sound design a lot more this season, it's fantastic

Fargo is like a lesson in how to properly execute TV tropes:

Adding to the cast with interestingly layered characters without becoming complex and redundant.
Loop back, perspective episodes that are enthralling and actually advance the story in fascinating ways.
Black humour themes that actually remain consistent with the tone of the season and series.

That little homage to No Country For Old Men was pretty cool.

Favorite line: "Ya gotta quit stabbin' him, hon.

I'm finding myself saying "this was the best episode ever" after every single one this season, just incredible. Jeffery Donovan killed it as Dodd, his dejected "Godamnit" after Ed put the pillow case on his head was perfect. And Kirsten Dunst really needs to win some kind of award after this, I never knew she could be this good

I have to say it now, this is one of the best seasons of TV ever. This season is better than season 1 and that is saying a lot.

Simply wow.

Is it the abandoned one on Highway 40 at Fortress Junction? That was my guess.

This is the best show on television right now by a mile, and that episode was awesome. The "goddamit" was hilarious, as was the "Ya gotta stop stabbing him hon".

It was a great job of making Dodd into a sympathetic character, which I knew meant the writing was on the wall. As soon as Hanzee walked in, I knew what was coming.

I thought it was the Fortress Junction one, too, but the traffic pattern didn't seem to match what I remember of it.

I think Leopold Stotch has it correct, judging by the link.

Dodd: "Women: can't live with 'em; can't turn 'em into cat food."

Stephen King wrote on Twitter that "this episode was the best thing on TV in the last three years. Terrifying and hillarious."
