Fixing an Iphone 4?

I dropped something on my phone and now it won't turn on and the screen is cracked in the bottom right corner.

Anyone able to recommend someone locally to attempt to fix it or should I try apple or is it toast?

Try Apple, and chances are they give you the old $169 to exchange for a refurbished phone. Although, on rare occasions they do that swap for free under warranty, even if it is drop or water damage.

If it was just the screen, I would say fix it yourself (http://www.ifixit.com/iPhone-Parts/i...-ATT/IF182-003) as it is a very simple fix, but who know what else is damaged.

Thanks Rathji. I think it is more than the screen as it instantly stopped playing music and wont turn on now

If you can't figure out what's wrong, you can take it to iPhix which charges a $30 fee to diagnose and assess the issue.

After that you can decide what you want to do.
