So, did he successfully bunny-hop the corpse? Or did he attempt it, but essentially use the corpse as a ramp for a sweet jump?

Either way, I'm impressed. I don't think I can hop my mountain bike that high on a flat section... haha.

Didn't he just wind up doing an endo and wiping out too?

Yeah, he was on the ground hard. I think he cleared the body but couldn't stick the landing.

I've landed a few jumps that way myself, so I don't judge. After I saw the amount of air he got I just gave him a free pass on the rest. By "success" I meant "didn't further injure the dead guy" haha.

Bunnyhopping on a road bike is a weird feeling. I'm very good at it on a mtn bike, I can put my old BMX skills to use. Road bike bars are too narrow to get the proper upward torque if that makes sense.

Nope. Meetings today. I haven't been able to commute this week at all. Hopefully tomorrow's forecast holds and I'll be able to ride in.

Was that around 6:30 by chance? Saw a guy riding eastbound on the path along 32nd right into that wind.

Nope, I was there around 8am. Definitely earning my wings at the pub later tonight though, took lots of will power to convince myself to ride ha.

Great tailwind this morning! Took Ctr Street today and it appears that the bus driver I reported a few weeks ago has learned something. He actually changed lanes when passing me.

I can't remember the last time I took the bus, it's been well over a month.

My SILF is getting married on September 9th. Her and her fiance announced it at dinner on Sunday, and the first reaction from three of us was, "That's the Whistler granfondo day". Since I injured my knee I've been aiming to do this ride as my accomplishment that I'll be fully back. Yes, I could go on a long ride the day before, but this isn't ideal timing. The wedding is in Victoria too, which makes it much more difficult. I could take a harbour plane from Whistler to Victoria, but it leaves at 11:30. I'll likely just be getting into Whistler at that time. There's also one that goes from Whistler to Vancouver, and then to Victoria, but it gets there at 2pm, which is when the ceremony is. Why is love ruining my cycling plans? Why, love? Why?

It's like a MILF, but sister in law. I guess technically it should be SILILF, but that just looks silly. I've been using SILF for a long time, but at the time it was my friend's sister. I've just updated it for current relationships.

I had to look it up and it seems to be just as bad as I assumed.
