My wife was invited to this thing by co-workers, but it seemed kind of pretentious and #### buying white dress shoes to wear once a year.

There were some hotties going to this event getting on the LRT. At multiple stations. Any single lads out there wishing to meet good-looking ladies, this would have been one hell of an event.

...and apparently they left quite the mess on the bike path in that area. At least according to a few tweets this morning from riders.

I rode in and every city garbage can along the path near the event was jam packed and a bunch of garbage was left outside the cans at several of them.
Homeless guy I passed hit the jackpot at the next can he was about to stumble upon as there were a ton of bottles waiting.

Title makes it sound so racist. Or maybe it's just in my head.
I saw a bunch of police having a "chat" with some loud drunkards dressed in white last night. Quite a stream of people though, I had assumed it was some religious retreat gone wrong.
Ironically, they were indeed all white people dressed in white.

It was a pretty posh event with fine foods. I'm sure the menu had Ku Klux Clam on it.

My wife wanted to attend this event. Then we found out you're responsible for your own table, white cloth, chairs, setting and food.
So basically you're paying to have a really elaborate and inconvenient picnic in a park. No thanks, lol.

So let me get this straight : people paid money to dress up in white costumes, bring their own supplies and food to a park, eat dinner with a bunch of other pretentious people they don't know, and then leave their crap everywhere afterwards?
Sounds horrible.

Don't they know you're not supposed to wear white after Labour Day?
