Default CHL settles class-action lawsuit over minimum wage payment

https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/juni...-wage-payment/

per Friedman each CHL club will pay out ~$250k in damages to players. Still unclear how much each player would get.

Main reason for settling is that legal advise was that case could take a court case could take a decade to decide which meant millions in legal fees and insurance would only cover up to $30 million.

So... is the CHL going to change anything or are they just going to get the bajebas sued out of them every 5 years or so? I mean they're gonna find it awfully hard to get insurance if they don't nay?
