It's arguable if 10 days before the trade deadline is a "deadline deal".

What difference does it make when the trade takes place within a ten day span of the deadline?

It's improving the team prior to the freeze.

You're implying the trade to land a #4 D at good value doesn't count because it's not right before the deadline?

I think the Flames will make 2 more moves before or at the the trade deadline.
But..
If the only other move was Wideman being dealt I would consider it a successfull trade deadline.

I'm not implying that. You're inferring that. And its poorly constructed at that.

I'm implying it would be lame if the Flames don't do something at the "deadline".

And a list of people a mile long have told you in this very thread that's a pointless thing to complain about.

What does it matter if we make a move to improve right at the deadline or a few days prior?

It honestly seems like you're just seeking attention.

Im curious what peoples thoughts are if Treliving does nothing at the deadline. Some people have said he's already done enough, others support further action.

So... that's what? I dunno. Welcome to a thread?

If he does nothing? He's already done something, as many other people have said.

This is some nonsense right here.

And I'm seeking attention? You've made your point once already, and now you continue for reasons I'm not quite grasping. I'm capable of reading the first post. Perhaps you just don't value your time? That would be genuinely sad

So your not going to tune into the trade deadline coverage hoping to see the Flames make a transaction? You've packed it in?

OK. I've made note.

I never said that. I'm just refuting your clearly wrong point.

It's baffling how you haven't been able to grasp this. It's simple... Treliving has already made a move. That won't stop me from watching to see if he trades Wideman, Jokipakka, Chiasson, or anyone else, but the point is that your thread is fundamentally flawed.

Not to be the old man who yells at clouds, but...

This thread is the product of the media.

Hyping up the 'Trade Deadline Day' to the point where it has lost all context and meaning.

You continued to ask with the wording "if he does nothing"

so I genuinely assumed you were not comprehending what people have been repeatedly telling you.

If you do get it but still want to continue, by all means. Have fun.
