Maybe a depth move on the lower lines, or perhaps a minor swap of prospects.

I do think Wideman will be moved.

Do nothing except trade Wideman to the sun and I'm happy!

Maybe it's the winning streak talking, but I'm good not adding anything. Wouldn't mind selling off some spare parts though like Wideman and Jyrki

Very happy with the team the way it is.

If he can move Wideman, great. If not, no worries.

The one thing I would love to see (though there is no chance of it happening), is to move Chiasson to create space, and then add Sharp.

Adding Sharp, and having Ferland, Frolik, Sharp and Brouwer as our 4 RWs would be awesome.

While it would be nice to get a few more 2nd's, 3rd's & 4th's for Wideman, Engelland, Jokipakka, Versteeg, Chiasson, Bouma and Stajan, it's not imperative.

Getting Stone was already a great acquisition that improved the team and I am happy with the lineup as is. Sure if someone wants Wideman go for it but no need to trade other UFAs like Engelland and Versteeg when the team is firmly in a playoff spot.

Bolded can go, keep the others.

Im hoping for a skilled winger to play with bennett.

Versteeg-Bennett-Trade
Bouma-Stajan-Brouwer
rounds out the lines very nicely.

If he doesn't do anything additional at this trade deadline I'll be surprised and a bit bummed out from an entertainment point of view (because it's always exciting when trades happen). I'll be okay with it though, because we know he's working away and trying his best to improve the team for now and the future. If he doesn't get something down now, I'm fairly confident we'll see something done in the summer to improve the roster.

As-is, Stone and Bartkowski are awesome additions

I don't want any rentals, but there are a few things I would like to see.

- Wideman gone, for literally anything.
- Try to get one of those decent forwards that might not be protected for expansion. Specifically thinking about Silfverberg, but I'm sure there are more that would be worth looking at.
- Trade Bouma.

Yeah I like the idea of Silfverberg too, just don't know about the cost since he'd be coming from a divisional rival.

Ok with Treliving standing pat if the alternative is overpaying like Minny just did.

At this point, I wonder if Wideman not getting traded is because teams are offering something like (Wideman + an A-prospect + salary retained) to take him off our hands.

Tre would probably be happy to get only a late round draft pick back; but Tre doesn't want to give up one of our prospect.

I look at the Trade Deadline as an entire week now as opposed to just a day. Lots of GM's now try to get ahead of the curve. I would agree with everyone else that Treliving as already been active this deadline.

To answer the OP's question, which I assume he meant if he "did nothing else", I wouldn't be overly upset. I would like to see them add a depth winger but I don't think it will make a huge difference.

As long as Alex Burrows is not a Flame I'll be satisfied.

Wideman is not in the lineup, so a trade doesn't change the on ice product, and the return will be minimal. With POs in sight and defensive depth always an issue at that time, I don't mind him being kept in reserve. He's still capable of playing OK if he's just spotted. He didn't have a decent stretch in the second quarter this year.

Getting a 2052 7th round pick for Wideman would be a huge win at this point.

Common guys considering the flames portion right now wideman is not a liability; he sits on the bench
