The Sharks destroyed the Islanders 7-0 on the backs of two players just acquired from the Islanders.

Nash and Hutchinson got their revenge. Hutch shut the door on his former team while Nash scored 2 goals and 2 assists en route to the win. It was a dominant effort all around.

Washington and Philly both took a cross country flight last night and played in their 2nd game in 2 nights. Our D had a great contribution to the offensive game, and Couturier gets his first as a Flyer. We beat the slumping Capitals squad, but didn't get any help from Ottawa to close the gap on the very consistent Devils.
Our 3rd game in 3 days will be especially trying, against the leagues best team.
