Milos beat del Potro to make the final: 6-3, 7-6(6). He'll face Jack Sock.

I know it's only an ATP 250 event, but anytime you can win a tourney early in the year, it can really propel you to a great season. Here's hoping Milos can seal the deal tomorrow.

Bummer. Milos had to withdraw with a hamstring injury.

You really start to wonder if injuries are going to derail the career aspirations of Milos. He's widely regarded as one of the hardest working guys on the men's tour, maybe he needs to work differently or incorporate more stretching into his workouts, who knows?

Top 4 Canadians (Raonic, Pospisil, Polansky and Diez) not in action this week.
All other Canadians are in Gatineau for the first Canadian Futures of the year.
Shapovalov is the 2nd seed.

At this point and time I would assume he likely would have played had it been a 1000 level or major tournament. With Miami and Indian Wells both coming up it was probably a safety move more than anything....a 250 level win really doesn't do much for him at this point and time.
On the flip side I'd start to look at making a change in the physio/athletic conditioning side of my team. Clearly something is off whether it's the diet, training or preparation side. Based on his reputation it has nothing to do with being lazy or ill prepared to play.

She lost to an unranked player who hadn't played in 13 months. Ranking likely to fall into the 60's soon, which means qualifying for all the big non-majors, and having to play lesser tournaments just for the guaranteed entry. But hey at least she got some free pub for the Super Bowl bet.

Think it's safe to drop expectations for her at this point. She not gonna be a premier player on the tour; just a flash in the pan.

I wonder if Bouchard having to drop down a level and win a few tournaments will be what she needs to gather some momentum.

That was a heck of a match and Delpo had Joker on the ropes, but Novak prevailed in three sets.

Great match on TSN right now between Murray and Kohlschreiber.
Murray pushed it to a third set saving seven match points in the tie-break 20-18.

3rd set going down the drain fast, it's hard to continue playing at that level after blowing 7 match points

Wonder if she can act? Maybe she can use her looks to get some acting parts.

She can't even act like a professional tennis player for more than a month at a time right now, hard to see her being a good actress. More than likely she ends up marrying the Biebs, and the Kournikova circle will be complete.
