Well, draw is in so as per tradition, call it:
A:
France
Romania
Switzerland
Albania
B:
Wales
Russia
England
Slovakia
C:

Poland
N. Ireland
Ukraine
D:
Croatia
Turkey
Spain
Czech Rep.

And yes, there is some cynicism and hope in those rankings.

Thanks man. Only the two, Poland v. Ukraine and England v. Slovakia.
Our group now needs to decide what we're going to do with the second game. There is talk of trying to trade the England game for another Poland game if we can but we'll see. Selling it is also another option.
We only have a few days budgeted for France so we'll see how it works.

If you have any games with 4 or more tickets I might be able to take them off your hands.

I think the consensus Group of Death (hate that term) is group E.
Although the more I look at the groups, holy **** group D looks tough too. Granted, the Czechs are a little weaker than their past glory days, but they are certainly not weak by any stretch.
I think really only Spain are "safe" in that group, likely winning all their matches 1:0 in a classically boring style. Croatia is undoubtedly the 2nd best in that group, but again the HNS picking some noob ass, no-name manager to lead them was a huge mistake. I wouldn't be shocked if Croatia flounder in the group stage. I also wouldn't be shocked if Croatia beat Spain, then lose out to the Czechs and Turks.
I'm not sure if it's possible given the draw, but a Belgian-German final would be tantalizing IMO.

Only if they don't win their groups. Winner C and Winner E to meet in the QF.. The odd group winners (A,C,E) are on one side and the even group winners (B,D,F) are on the other.
Germany 1st and Belgium 2nd and vice versa they would be on opposite sides.
This is why some are saying it's better to finish 2nd than 1st in Group E
Lets say for this example the 3rd place teams in A and F suck and are eliminated
The draw would be
2nd A
2nd C
1st D
3rd E
1st B
3rd D
1st F
2nd E
------
1st C
3rd B
1st E
2nd D
1st A
3rd C
2nd B
2nd F

Starts in 10 days, who's everyone cheering for? I'm cheering for Sweden and hoping for some Zlatan magic --likely his last kick of the can.
