Have pretty much quit playing since the starter Pokemon event. One spin, one catch a day is usually all. A gym battle as necessary to stay in 10-12.
The only time actually catching, used Silph Road to find a HUGE Magikarp nest. +/-1500 candies for a couple pretty long days spent spinning Pokeballs.
Nests are new again now, as of a couple days ago, so not much showing - but will fill in soon as discovered and confirmed. If you are willing to drive to where you need to go, can maybe fill in those last few spots pretty quickly. Link to Calgary area of nesting sites

Doesn't look like a lot of help showing yet. It will become more populated as nests are reported, but for example, Geodude is spawning in Stanley Park.
I still haven't hatched a Cleffa

Managed to find a Tangela. Super lucky with that it was just there by a lake in my neighbourhood.
It is still a bit of a grind but managed to catch a bunch over the past little bit after a trip downtown.
Pokedex 140
Missing:
Machamp (53 candies needed)
Golem (28 needed)
Gyrados (339 needed)
Kabutops (35 needed)
Muk (18 needed)
Dugtrio (4 needed)
Marowak (16 needed)
Chansey
Magby
Elekid
(unreleased and non-regional ones)
Found a Dragonite with IV of 90%, wasted 10 Ultraballs and 15 Greatballs on the bloody thing before it ran away. Super frustrating. Don't really think Gyrados is possible. Unless they turn every mon into a magikarp for April fools day or something like that. There don't seem to be any nests in Calgary I can see right now even on the Silphroad. Cleffas are super hard to find. I tend to get a ton of 5k eggs but not so much 10k and 2k eggs.
What's this about pokemon genders I hear? Maybe this will help generate eggs going forward.
